Purchasing Manager with German (fully remote possible)

Your role and main tasks

  • You are responsible for the strategic and operational adjustment of your brand's portfolio in the areas of home, apartment and technology.
  • You are largely responsible for budget planning, development of purchasing types/processes and allocation of logistics capacity in your area.
  • You make a significant contribution to expanding your categories by acquiring new brands, developing existing international key accounts and managing strategically important international brands.
  • Negotiating great deals on limango with suppliers is your main area of responsibility.
  • You plan up to 20 international campaigns per month with suppliers for our private shopping zone and look for the best offers on the market.
  • You work in an international team composed of colleagues from Europe.
  • You are in constant contact with the Category, Marketing, Campaign Management and Logistics departments.

You will need

Professional requirements for the candidate:
  • Proficiency in German communication skills is a mandatory requirement for this role ( a must!).
  • You have very good communication skills in Englishand strong negotiation skills: You communicate clearly and unambiguously and do not lose sight of your goal in negotiations.
  • You have at least 3 years of purchasing experience in eCommerce and/or have already gained relevant experience in purchasing/selling Home&Living and/or technology.
  • Ideally, you already have contacts and business relationships in the home and/or technology sector and know the individual customer requirements for products in this range.
  • You have already gained experience in undertaking, structuring, presenting and successfully implementing projects.
