At Limango IT, you’ll have the chance to apply your ideas and expertise to improve customer service and order management for the German, Polish, and Dutch markets. 
You’ll work with a modern technology stack, including cloud-based solutions, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven communication. Additionally, you’ll join an established international agile team comprising experienced developers, a dedicated Product Owner, and a QA engineer.  
 
We use a modern and robust technology stack to drive innovation and scalability:
  • Legacy PHP solution (with some Go)
  • Microservices hosted on AWS, enabling flexibility and growth
  • Databases: transitioning from MySQL to AWS NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes for smooth deployment and scaling
  • Messaging: AWS SQS for efficient queue management
  • Front-End: ReactJS for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces
  • Office and internal infrastructure is hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud, providing a secure, scalable, and modern foundation for our workplace operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the key point of contact for ensuring effective communication and alignment within your team and across other teams. 
  • Collaborate with team members to support and maintain existing PHP and Go solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of our marketplace application. 
  • Concentrate on sustaining and refining current solutions, including maintaining APIs, job workers, and message consumers, while ensuring a robust codebase through unit and functional testing. 
  • Opportunity to expand your knowledge or deepen your expertise in Go microservices. 
  • Thrive in an agile environment, embracing practices such as Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Pair Programming. 
  • Utilize a diverse set of technologies, choosing the most suitable tools for each task. 
  • Work in a flat, fast-paced organization that values your ideas and encourages swift decision-making. 

You'll need:

This position is a 1-year contract focused on supporting and maintaining existing solutions.

  • Minimum of 4 years of PHP experience, with recent hands-on work in Laravel or Symfony. 
  • Solid experience with APIs, asynchronous jobs, and messaging tools like RabbitMQ or Amazon SNS/SQS. 
  • Proficient in data storage systems, whether MySQL, NoSQL, or similar technologies. 
  • Strong command of Git. 
  • Experience working in agile teams, with a proactive, responsible, and continuous learning mindset. 
  • Comfortable mentoring peers and sharing knowledge as part of daily work. 

Desirable Skills:

Experience managing large-scale data or working in tightly integrated system environments.
Expertise in designing and reviewing complex REST API integrations.
Familiarity with Go programming.
Familiarity with tools like Terraform and AWS.
