YOUR ROLE AND MAIN TASKS
- You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of leading Kids Fashion brands across private shopping campaigns and shop-related campaign formats.
- You actively manage and further develop partnerships with some of the most relevant Kids Fashion brands ensuring a commercially successful and customer-relevant assortment.
- You build long-term relationships with brand partners and act as a trusted commercial counterpart for all business-related topics.
- A key part of your role is identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new brands and continuously expanding the Kids Fashion portfolio.
- You closely monitor market developments, consumer trends and competitor activities within the Kids Fashion industry and translate insights into commercial opportunities.
- Negotiating strong commercial agreements with suppliers is one of your main responsibilities. This includes regular negotiations regarding purchase prices, margins, payment terms, delivery conditions and campaign participation.
- You plan and steer international campaigns for private shopping and shop-related formats, always identifying the most attractive market opportunities while balancing commercial potential, customer relevance and operational feasibility.
- You continuously analyze sales performance, margins, stock quality, sell-through rates, availability and campaign success and derive concrete actions to improve results.
- You work with performance KPIs, assortment productivity metrics and commercial analyses to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
- You work closely with Strategy Management, Shop Management, Marketing, Campaign Management, Logistics, Business Intelligence and other relevant departments.
- You act as the central contact person for your supplier and brand portfolio and proactively drive its commercial development.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, buying, category management, business development or a comparable commercial role within fashion, lifestyle, retail or e-commerce.
- Experience within Kids Fashion is highly preferred.
- You have a strong understanding of supplier management, assortment planning, pricing, margins and campaign-driven retail business.
- You have a strong network within the Kids Fashion industry and a good understanding of relevant brands, suppliers and market developments.
- You possess excellent negotiation skills and are confident in managing commercial discussions with international suppliers and brand partners.
- You have proven experience in identifying, acquiring and developing new supplier and brand relationships.
- You are comfortable working with performance KPIs, sell-through analyses, margin development and assortment productivity metrics.
- You have a strong sense for fashion trends, product relevance and customer needs within the Kids Fashion segment.
- You understand how seasonality, trends and brand positioning influence purchasing decisions and campaign performance.
- You communicate clearly and professionally in English. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
- You are able to structure complex topics, present them clearly and successfully implement projects across different departments.
