Sales Manager Marketplace (100% remote possible)
Your role and main tasks
You have the opportunity to further expand and actively shape the rapidly growing marketplace business unit and our partner program for brands and retailers by acquiring new sellers and products to limango.de and limango.pl. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our marketplace by identifying, recruiting, and signing strategic partners. Your efforts will directly impact the variety and attractiveness of our product offerings, ultimately enhancing the customer experience and solidifying limango's position as a leading online platform for families. You will have the chance to build lasting relationships with key players in the e-commerce landscape and contribute to the overall success of our dynamic and innovative team.
Daily tasks of the position:
- Proactively research and identify potential sellers and strategic partners to expand our marketplace ecosystem and enrich our product selection.
- Take ownership of your category's growth by strategically growing our marketplace partner portfolio.
- Independently negotiate partner agreements to secure beneficial conditions and partnerships.
- Be responsible for your goals and KPIs, constantly monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Represent the limango marketplace externally at trade fairs, webinars, and networking events.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and teams to actively contribute to the continuous scaling and optimization of the limango marketplace.
You will need
- Proven experience in sales, e-commerce, or the platform/marketplace industry.
- Completed studies and/or a comparable professional qualification in economics, sales or e-commerce.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for networking, with proven ability to foster successful, collaborative partnerships.
- Strong negotiation skills and persuasiveness while working independently and being result-oriented.
- Positive attitude and a strong motivation to thrive in a young, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
- Very good English language skills (B2-C1) and ideally some knowledge of German (B1).
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is an advantage.
