Tasks and Role
- Act as the go-to person for ensuring seamless communication and alignment within your team and across other teams.
- Maintain and improve existing PHP solutions while developing new microservices in Go, collaborating with team members to modernize our marketplace application.
- Focus on maintaining and refining the existing solutions, helping us build a cutting-edge marketplace app. Your work will involve building APIs, job workers, and message consumers, while ensuring the codebase is rock-solid through unit and functional testing.
- Gain the opportunity to learn or deepen your expertise in Go microservices.
- Embrace an agile environment, thriving with practices like Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Pair Programming.
- Leverage a diverse toolbox of technologies, selecting the right tools for the job at hand.
- Work in a flat, fast-paced organization that values your ideas and fosters quick decision-making.
- At least 8 years of PHP experience, with recent hands-on work in Laravel or Symfony.
- Solid experience working with APIs, asynchronous jobs, and messaging tools like RabbitMQ or Amazon SNS/SQS.
- Proficient with data storage systems, whether it's MySQL, NoSQL, or similar technologies.
- Strong command of Git.
- Experience working in agile teams, with a motivated, responsible, and continuously learning mindset.
- Comfortable mentoring peers and sharing knowledge as part of daily work.
- Nice to Have
- Experience handling large-scale data or working in tightly integrated system environments.
- Expertise in designing and reviewing complex REST API integrations.
- Proficiency in Go programming.
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform and AWS.
