At Limango IT, you’ll have the chance to apply your ideas and expertise to improve customer service and order management for the German, Polish, and Dutch markets.  
You’ll work with a modern technology stack, including cloud-based solutions, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven communication. Additionally, you’ll join an established international agile team comprising experienced developers, a dedicated Product Owner, and a QA engineer.   We use a modern and robust technology stack to drive innovation and scalability: 
  • GoLang (with some legacy PHP) 
  • Microservices hosted on AWS, enabling flexibility and growth 
  • Databases: transitioning from MySQL to AWS NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB 
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes for smooth deployment and scaling 
  • Messaging: AWS SQS for efficient queue management 
  • Front-End: ReactJS for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces 
  • Office and internal infrastructure is hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud, providing a secure, scalable, and modern foundation for our workplace operations. 
 
Goal of the Position: 

As a Senior Go Developer, you will play a pivotal role in a team dedicated to integrating a SaaS solution into the Limango infrastructure. This involves developing AWS-based services responsible for both synchronous and asynchronous data exchange of marketplace products, offers, orders, and more. You will work with a cutting-edge technology stack, including cloud-based solutions, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven communication. You will be part of an established international agile team that includes seasoned developers, a dedicated Product Owner, and a QA engineer.
 
Tasks and Role: 
  • Lead a complex software integration project facilitating data exchange for millions of marketplace products and offers across international markets. 
  • Develop and maintain applications using Go, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry best practices. 
  • Design and implement APIs and event-based communication for seamless data exchange across various environments. 
  • Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify optimal solutions and resolve dependencies.

You'll need:

  • At least 4 years of experience with Golang.
  • Familiarity with PHP to understand legacy software when necessary. 
  • Strong understanding of Terraform and AWS services such as SNS/SQS and DynamoDB. 
  • Experience in handling large volumes of data or working in tightly integrated setups. 
  • Solid grasp of clean code practices. 
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines for CI/CD. 
  • Profound knowledge of software design principles and best practices in software development. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in agile teams, with a motivated, responsible, and continuous learning mindset. 
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written). 
  • Experience with marketplace software is highly advantageous.
