In the limango IT you get the chance to contribute your own ideas and know-how to maintain and develop our highly frequented, self built online shop for our markets in Poland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead our Data Platform Team, which plays a critical role in collecting and serving data across our e-commerce ecosystem. This team aims to enable business analysts, Machine Learning teams, and other product teams to access high-quality, well-structured data for decision-making and innovation. While progress has been made, there is still work to be done in building a truly scalable and efficient data platform.  As a Senior Product Owner, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders from different departments, including analytics, ML, and product development. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Define and manage the Data Platform roadmap, aligning it with business and product needs. 
  • Prioritize and maintain the backlog, ensuring high-impact delivery in an Agile environment. 
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, ML teams, and other Product Owners to understand data requirements and use cases. 
  • Ensure high data quality, reliability, and accessibility across the organization. 
  • Drive adoption of Cloud Lakehouse technologies and best practices. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders regarding the Data Platform’s capabilities and evolution. 
  • Balance long-term data architecture needs with short-term business demands. 

You'll need:

Must-Haves: 
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills 
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a data-focused role 
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data platform needs 
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.) 
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders 
Nice-to-Have: 
  • Experience in building data lakes, warehouses, or lakehouses 
  • Background in e-commerce or experience working with large-scale consumer data 
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices 
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence Suites 
  • Previous experience with Databricks
