Your Job

  • You are responsible for the strategic and operational orientation of your four categories: Fashion, Denim, Men & Traditional Clothing. 
  • You are responsible for an international team set-up, consisting of five buyers and one assistant. Team located in Germany, Poland and Netherlands. You are in charge of the technical and disciplinary leadership. 
  • You are able to motivate a large team set-up, build & improve team structures and shaping your categories. You conduct the yearly feedback appraisals with your team and are able to develop your employees individually. 
  • You are responsible for budget planning of your categories, the strategic alignment of your product assortment and the optimization of procurement for our private shopping campaigns & shop sales. 
  • In addition you make a major contribution to expanding your categories by improving the conditions and preparing the annual meetings with your team, steering our acquisition process and provide operational support by planning the capacities within your team. 
  • Negotiating great deals with a few major international key accounts that you manage yourself is another area of your responsibility. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of these selected suppliers. Willingness to travel is necessary to visit suppliers, order appointments and trade fairs – also with your team. 
  • You are in constant contact with our Retail Strategy Team, Platform Team, Campaign Management and Business analytics. 

Your Profile

Professional requirements for the candidate: 
  • You have at least 5 years of purchasing or sales experience in e-commerce Fashion or related categories and already gained relevant experience in leading a team. 
  • Ideally, you already have contacts and business relationships in the Fashion universe and know the individual requirements of customers for the products in this assortment. 
  • You have strong communication skills in English and strong negotiation skills: You communicate clearly and unambiguously and you don't lose sight of your goal during negotiations. 
  • You know how to lead a team and have the ability to inspire employees for your cause, as well as the ability to assert yourself in a team, both internally and externally 
  • You have already gained experience in taking on, structuring, presenting and successfully implementing projects.

  • Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, keeping you on top of things in a fast-paced environment.
