Your Job
Our Key Account team ensures that our key account partners are optimally developed from assortment and pricing management to retail media initiatives and strategic revenue growth.
The Operations team is responsible for managing our base partners and the operational implementation of all retail media activities. As team lead, you will manage both teams, act as a sparring partner for the department head, and ensure that our partners develop successfully, projects are executed efficiently, and teams collaborate effectively.
Your Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead 2 teams (Key Account Management and Operations) with a total of around 10 employees.
- Coach and develop your teams, support them in carrying out their tasks, and promote individual strengths to create a motivated and high-performing environment.
Strategic Responsibility & Business Ownership
- Take full responsibility (revenue responsibility and strategic topics) for our marketplace partners.
- Act as business owner for partner topics and projects, e.g., renegotiation of terms or process optimization.
- Monitor and analyze relevant performance KPIs and derive measures to increase revenue and performance.
Coordination & Interface Management
- Serve as the link between Key Account, Operations, and other internal stakeholders such as Assortment, Sales, Platform, and Retail teams.
- Ensure that retail media activities, campaigns, and assortment strategies are implemented efficiently.
Partner Support & Operational Responsibility
- Support complex requests from Key Account and Base partners.
- Handle/support escalations (internal and external).
- Ensure quality in partner communication and the implementation of campaigns.
Your Profile
- Ideally more than 5 years of professional experience with leadership experience.
- Experience in e-commerce, ideally in category management, key account management, or retail media.
- Strong analytical understanding of KPIs, revenue, and assortment / category development
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Hands-on mentality combined with strategic vision.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills with internal stakeholders and partners.
